A collaborative worldbuild
A shattered world, a slowly-healing border, and a community deciding what lies on the other side.
The premise
An age ago, the world shattered. Not into rubble, but into hexes: a vast honeycomb of separate lands, each one sealed away from its neighbours by a rift — a seam of raw, wild magic that nothing living could cross. For longer than anyone can remember, every hex was a world unto itself, cut off and alone.
No one knows what caused it. No record survived, no living memory holds the truth. People call it the Fracturing, and that name is just about the only thing every hex agrees on.
The rifts didn't just divide the world. As they tore the land apart, wild magic washed across each sealed-off hex and changed it — some places barely at all, some past recognition. One hex might look like the old world preserved under glass. The next might have rivers that run uphill, forests of stone, or a sky that never sees the sun. You never quite know what's on the other side of a border until you cross it.
And now, for the first time in living memory, you can cross.
The Fading
The rifts are dying. Slowly, unevenly, with no fanfare and no clear reason, the wild magic that sealed the borders is thinning — a process people call the Fading. Edges that were lethal a generation ago can now be walked through, if carefully. Each fading border opens a hex that has been sealed since the beginning.
That's where you come in.
Home base
At the heart of the map sits Sanctuary — a walled city that came through the Fracturing almost untouched, with its lake, its farmland, and its old stone walls intact. No one agrees on why it was spared, but its survival is the reason any of this is possible. Today Sanctuary is run by a confederation of six guilds, and from its gates, expeditions set out into the unknown hexes around it: the Fractured Wilds.
Every hex on this map is a place those expeditions have reached — a self-contained adventure ready to drop into your own tabletop game, complete with the people who live there, the dangers waiting, the rumours worth chasing, and the things worth bringing home.

With you
This world isn't written in advance. It's built together, one hex a week.
Over time, the map fills in. Threads planted in one hex pay off in another. A rumour someone invented months ago turns out to be true three hexes east. The world grows a memory — and you helped write it.
At the table
Every published hex is built to be run at your table tonight, while leaving you room to make it your own:
Sanctuary itself is the fullest entry of all — your players' home base, with its guilds, its leaders, its services, and its job board of expeditions waiting to be taken.
Forever open
Some questions are meant to stay open.
What caused the Fracturing.
Why Sanctuary was spared.
What lies between the hexes.
These are the mysteries the whole world turns on, and they belong to every DM to answer — or never answer — in their own game. We build the world. The deepest secrets are yours.
Everyone's invited
Whether you're a DM looking for a ready-made world to drop your campaign into, a player curious where your next expedition might lead, or a worldbuilder who wants to leave a permanent mark on a shared map — there's a place for you here.
The borders are open. The Wilds are waiting.
